This guide covers every configuration option in the iTel Dialer for Windows. Whether you are setting it up for the first time or fine-tuning an existing installation, this reference has everything you need.
Installation
Download the latest EXE from the Downloads page. Run the installer with Administrator privileges. Windows Firewall rules are configured automatically.
SIP Account Setup
Navigate to Settings → SIP Accounts → Add Account. Enter the following fields:
- Display Name: Your business name or personal name
- SIP Username: Found in your iTelVoIP dashboard
- SIP Password: Your account SIP password
- Server Address: sip.itelvoip.com
- Port: 5060 (UDP) or 5061 (TLS)
Audio Configuration
In Settings → Audio, select your microphone and playback devices. Recommended settings:
- Enable Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC)
- Enable Background Noise Suppression
- Automatic Gain Control: Medium
Codec Priority
For best quality on fast connections, set codec priority to: Opus → G.722 → G.711u → G.711a → G.729. For constrained bandwidth, prioritize G.729 or Opus at low bitrate.
Call Recording
Enable call recording in Settings → Recording. Set your storage path and choose automatic or manual recording mode. Recordings are saved as WAV or MP3.
